All property owners' boats -- including sailboats, canoes and non-motorized vessels -- on "all lakes" must have a Lake Tansi Village Boat Permit. The permits are available at the POA office. These permits will allow us to determine who is not a member or a guest, and therefore not permitted on the lakes. To receive a boat permit, the property owner must appear at the POA office and present his / her membership card and boat registration. Absolutely no boat permits will be issued without a current membership card and current Tennessee Boat Registration. Permits shall be attached to both sides of the boat under the state registration before it is put in the water. The cost of permits for 2012 is $40 per vessel that has a motor on it.
