Rainfall Deficit Continues Despite a Wet December

• Lake Tansi golf course ended the year with 46.5” of rain in 2008. Despite 8.7” of rain in December, the course remained 8.4” below average for the year.
• April and November were the only other months that rainfall exceeded the norm. Rainfall at the course was .56” above average in April and .05” above in November.
• August, September, and October were very dry. The course received rain on 7 days out of the 90 day stretch.
• July gave us the largest deficit, 2.34” below average.
