Lake Tansi 2011 Golf Fees

The following are the golf fees for the 2011 season.  All fees listed include sales tax. The Golf Season will be from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011.

The Board of Directors is offering two separate annual plans this year. Their goal is to accommodate the golfers that play a substantial amount of golf and to also accommodate the golfers that play a goodly amount of golf, but not quite enough to make the all inclusive annual plan economical or affordable. Annual Plan purchases do not include GHIN handicap service or entry into the Club Championship.

 

All Inclusive Annual Plan
This plan has been around for many years. It includes unlimited greens fees and unlimited cart rentals or trail fees. This plan is available to all members including associate members. The fees for this plan are as follows:
 
Annual Membership for Single $1,800.00 Includes Tax
Annual Membership for Couple $2,900.00 Includes Tax
 
A bank draft installment plan is available for this program with 25% down and 3 equal monthly installments beginning in April 2011. Note: There is no "Family" membership. Couples must reside in the same household.

Annual Greens Fees Plan
This plan is being made available this year to offer golfers who play 100 to 150 rounds per year an option to have less money at risk should they become injured or ill during the season. The initial cost is for unlimited greens fees for the year. This plan will also attract those who desire exercise by walking. A cart cost of $10 per 18 holes per person and $5 per 9 holes per person would be paid each time a cart is needed. If the golfer walks there is no additional charge. The golfer utilizing this plan has the option to deposit funds into their account the same as the Player Card. The minimum initial deposit for this plan is $250 for a single and $500 for a couple ($250 each). The fees for this plan are:
   
Single $700 per year including tax
Couple $1,300 per year including tax
Cart Fees $10 for 18 holes per person
Cart Fees $5 for 9 holes per person
 
No financing plan is available for this plan.


 
Tansi Frequent Players Card
These cards will have an initial deposit of $500.00 per individual. This entitles the cardholder to purchase rounds of play at the posted discount prices or any rate lower should that occur during the calendar year.
  • Players Cards my be purchased by either Full or Associate Members
  • You will be allowed to carry over any amount of funds remaining in you account at year end to the next year.
  • If health or other reasons require that you exit the program the funds may be held for the next year, applied to dues owed to the POA or refunded in cash at 50% of face value.
  • No payment plan is available for this program.
  • Minimum deposits of $250.00 may be made at anytime after the initial $500.00 deposit.
  • Players Card purchases do not include GHIN handicap service or entry into the Club Championship.

Golf Package Rates
Those organizations that participate in the golf package program have been notified that the rates are as follows:

18 Hole Round $40.00
27 Hole Round $50.00
36 Hole Round $60.00

 
Other Golf Comments:

  • Only two consecutive tee times may be booked per day per individual
  • Tee times may be booked 7 days in advance for “local” zip codes and 14 days in advance for non-local zip codes.
  • The double crossover played on Wednesday and Thursday is eliminated as a normal operation, but will be utilized to avoid conflicts with large outings and tournaments or when it just makes sense to do so.
  • Management has no objection to reserving limited Friday tee times for additional league play for “Bandits”, provided that they remain flexible with scheduling during “package” season in Spring and Fall.
  • League start times and the number of tee times will remain the same as the previous year.
  • Additional tee times for leagues on off days were not fully utilized and at this point there is no immediate need to continue, but will be further evaluated prior to league start up in the spring.
  • The will be some sort of entry fee for the “Club Championship” that will be determined at a later date depending on prizes and food offerings.  The format for play will be the same as the past year.
  • GHIN handicap service if desired is provided at cost.  The cost for this service is $20.00 per person for the year.
