The Thunderbird Recreation Center

RECREATION AND COMMUNITY CENTERS

The Recreation Department at Lake Tansi provides a multitude of recreational facilities. From crafts to swimming, the Recreation Department is the place to go.

The Thunderbird Recreation Center is located off Deer Run Circle. The Thunderbird is the location of many of the dances and parties held at Lake Tansi annually. You will also find pool tables, juke box, video games and snacks available at specific times throughout the year.

The Thunderbird also hosts various craft activities for both adults and children, as well as several of the local clubs.

Equipment for activities may be checked out here, too.

Adjoining the Thunderbird are the miniature golf course, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts and the outdoor swimming pool.

For information on fees and activities, call 931-788-6282.

Lake Tansi's walking trail is one of the best ways to enjoy the area's natural beauty. Not only that, but it's a great way to get some exercise!
