The marina on Lake Tansi
With four lakes at Lake Tansi, the residents
enjoy an abundance of water activities. The largest, Lake Tansi,
comprises over 500 acres and supports a wide variety of water
sports, including, fishing, water skiing, swimming and paddle
boating.
Lake Tansi is the only of the four lakes
to allow gasoline-engine-driven boating.
The Lake Tansi Marina offers a full variety
of boating services, including boat rentals and fishing supplies.

2008 BOAT SERVICES
Seven days a week
April thru October
Annual boat slip rental: $450 (includes boat
permit fee)
Annual boat trailer storage: $100
Nightly boat slip rental: $7
Daily guest launch fee: $10
Overnight slips: $7 + $10 launch fee + key deposit
Boat permit fee: $25 each for all motorized boats
Canoes and paddle boats: no charge

Marina & Bait Shop. |
All property owners' boats -- including
sailboats, canoes and non-motorized vessels -- on all lakes must
have a Lake Tansi Boat Permit. The permits are available at the
POA office. These permits will allow us to determine who is not
a member or a guest, and therefore not permitted on the lakes.
To receive a boat permit, the property owner must appear at the
POA office and present his membership card and boat registration.
Absolutely no boat permits will be issued without a current membership
card. Permits shall be attached to both sides of the boat under
the state registration before it is put in the water. The cost
of permits for 2008 is $25 per vessel that has a motor on
it.

2008 FISHING
BOAT RENTAL FEES

Renter must be 18 years or older.
Maximum passengers: three adults or two adults
and two children.
Rental boats available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fishing boat rental includes motor, paddle,
anchor, life vest, gas and oil, as indicated. Deposits are refundable
when boat, motor, paddle, anchor and life vests are checked in
at Tansi Marina & Bait Shop by the time indicated on the boat
rental contract. All fishing boat rental
fees include tax. Deposits are refundable when boat, motor, paddle,
anchor and life vest are checked in at the Tansi Bait Shop by
the time indicated on the boat rental contract. All fishing boat
rentals require a $25 deposit. Fees do not include tax.

Boat renters must be 21 years or older.
Pontoon boat rental includes motor, gas, oil,
life vests, throw cushions and fire extinguisher. All pontoon
boat rentals require a $50 deposit. Deposits are refundable when
boat, motor and life vest are checked in at Tansi Bait Shop by
the time indicated on the boat rental contract. Fees do not include
tax.
