If you're a member in good standing, Lake Tansi Security will, at your request, provide extra patrol on your home when you are away for extended periods. All house checks will be notated.

You may obtain a "Security Watch Request" form from the Security office or download and print the form HERE. Fill out the information and either drop it off at the Security office or the P.O.A. Administration office.

  


The Emergency Services headquarters

Lake Tansi Emergency Services stand ready and able to support the needs of the Lake Tansi community 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Consisting of Lake Tansi Security, the 5th District Volunteer Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Service, the Lake Tansi Emergency Services are there if and when you need them.

All three services are located in the same building on Dunbar Road, almost directly across from the main Lake Tansi P.O.A. entrance.


Lake Tansi Security Staff is headed up by Chief Henry Hunnicutt and consists of six full-time officers, one part-time officer and five auxillary officers. While they are the full-time security patrol for Lake Tansi, they are also special deputies of Cumberland County and will support county actions by request.

The Security Force performs routine patrols throughout the Lake Tansi area and will make special patrols of an area if informed of a property owner going away on vacation. To utilize this service, fill out an "extra patrol form" at either the security office on Dunbar Road or at the POA office.

For routine services or inquiries, call the security office at 931-788-6388. For all life-threatening situations, always call 911.


The Volunteer Fire Department at Lake Tansi consists of 12 personnel, two of whom live in Lake Tansi. The department is supported by the Cumberland County Fire Department on all calls in Lake Tansi. The county fire department staffs three or four firefighters 24 hours a day. The Crossville Volunteer Fire Department also has a compliment of four full-time firemen. While a volunteer service, the dedication and professionalism of the Lake Tansi VFD is second to none.

All calls to the Lake Tansi VFD are 911 calls.


The Emergency Medical Service at Lake Tansi is a fully staffed, highly competent county resource. The EMS consists of six technicians, working two to a shift, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The EMS is almost a full mobile ER for all trauma/medical situations.

The EMS is always a 911 call.
