Lake Tansi Emergency Services stand ready to serve and to protect and is able to support the needs of the residents of the Lake Tansi community 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Consisting of Lake Tansi Security Enforcement, Cumberland County 5th District Volunteer Fire Department and Cumberland County Emergency Medical Services.

The Lake Tansi Emergency Services are there if and when you need them. All three services are located in the same building at 2849 Dunbar Road, almost directly across from the main entrance to the Lake Tansi P.O.A. office.

Lake Tansi Security

Lake Tansi Security is headed up by Chief Henry Hunnicutt and consists of seven full-time officers, one part-time officer and four auxiliary officers. While they are the full-time security patrol for Lake Tansi they are also special deputies backing up the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department on police calls in and around Lake Tansi or the Tennessee Highway Patrol on vehicle accidents or escorting FIRE and EMS to addresses in Lake Tansi.

Cumberland County 5th District Fire Department at Lake Tansi

The Cumberland County 5th District Fire Department at Lake Tansi consists of volunteer personnel, several of whom live in Lake Tansi. The department is dispatched along with  the Cumberland County Fire Department on all calls in Lake Tansi as well as the 5th district.  While the Tansi station is an all volunteer service, the dedication and professionalism of the Volunteers is second to none.

Emergency Medical Service at Lake Tansi

The Emergency Medical Service at Lake Tansi is a fully staffed, highly competent county resource. The EMS consists of three teams of paramedics with an EMT partner, working a 24 hour shift, seven days a week, 365 days a year. CCEMS is equipped for all trauma or medical situations.

If you're a member in good standing, Lake Tansi Security will, at your request, provide extra patrol on your home when you are away for extended periods.

You may obtain a "Security Watch Request" form from the Security office or download and print the form - CLICK HERE. Fill out the information and either drop it off at the Security office or the P.O.A. Administration office.
